Booming philanthropic software company expands world headquarters on Daniel Island by 300
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Blackbaud, the leading provider of software and services for the global philanthropic community, is expanding its existing world headquarters operations in Berkeley County.

Founded in 1981, Blackbaud serves the nonprofit, charitable giving, corporate social responsibility and education communities. The company offers a full spectrum of cloud and on-premise solutions, as well as a resource network that empowers and connects organizations of all sizes. Using Blackbaud technology, these organizations raise, invest, manage and award more than $100 billion each year. With approximately 35,000 customers in 60 countries, Blackbaud operates facilities in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
In an effort to expand its already robust corporate headquarters in Berkeley County, Blackbaud is moving into a larger estimated 360,000-square-foot facility on Daniel Island. Expected to be completed in phases, phase one of the new facility will be located at the intersection of Fairchild Street and Central Island Street, while phase two will be located at the intersection of River Landing Drive and Fairchild Street.
