Gescrap opening metal recycling facility, adding 21 jobs in Union County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – GESCRAP, a multinational corporation engaged in metal recycling and other auxiliary services for the manufacturing industry, has established operations in Union County. Investing $6.3 million in the facility, the company is expected to generate 21 new jobs over the next five years.

To establish its first facility in the Southeastern United States, GESCRAP constructed its Union County facility to house its GES Recycling operations. Located at 1723 Jonesville Highway in Union, S.C., hiring for the new facility is ongoing. Those interested in joining the GES Recycling team should contact hiring-us@gescrap.com.
